MUSIC NEWS: Mumford and Sons Are Back And Recording With James Ford
MUMFORD AND SONS ARE BACK AND AT IT AGAIN.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, I’ve been waiting a long time to say that. Since the band hinted at an indefinite hiatus on Facebook, I’ve been mourning by spending more than a few late nights watching then re-watching their “Gentlemen of The Road Tour” and “Road to Red Rocks” documentaries.
This past summer, Glastonbury saw a few members of Mumford reunited when they joined the Haim sisters on stage for a cracking jam session. Other than that, the band has been doing their own thing on the side of Mumford. But alas, NME reports that the band are in the early stages of writing and recording their third album. As if that news is not exciting enough, it is reported that they are working with James Ford, you know, the guy that produced the Artic Monkey’s AM and Haim’s Days Are Gone.
What a time to be alive.
