This Just In: Apple and U2 Unite to Offer Free Music

Fans of the Irish rock band U2 rejoiced today, not only because they found out the name (Songs of Innocence) and release date (physical release is scheduled for October 13) of the band’s newest album, but also because they could get the album for free! The only stipulation? They need to have an iTunes account. In fact, any and every person who has an iTunes account has been gifted the LP and it’s just up to them to redeem their prize.

Interested in how you can get your copy? Just log into your iTunes, go to your artist or album section, find U2’s Songs of Innocence and hit download! The music is “in the cloud” so you just have to download it to your computer! And from what I’ve heard so far – you’ll want this album.
